First blog post from my phone in a while. Hope it helps increase how often I do it. Playing around with some tarptent ideas. Started with the 7 foot per side pentagon like the mld trailstar.
Not sure what you mean Q. I changed comments from registered users to anyone which isn't likey what you are talking about. Is there a term I can look for in the comment settings to switch what you are asking for?
Yes, sorry. Settings/Posts and Comments - choose: Popup Window. That way I can still see your blog while I'm commenting. As it is now, it goes to a new page with only the comments. It's just easier to remember the details of what I wanted to say when I can see the pictures.
Also, funny story related to your post. Early last year our ten-year-old tent finally gave up the ghost so we threw it away and bought a new 9-person. Three trips later we stop near Rochester to discover that the cover has blown off of the bin on the trailer and the new tent has flown away. Gone. I still have the rain fly and the full set of shot-cord-connected poles though and was thinking of ideas like yours to use it for. I'm kind of on the cusp of throwing it all away, so cool that you posted this.

Nice. What's the verdict?
you should switch your comment type to allow me to see the picture while I'm commenting. Seems like it was a good picture.
